It is the policy of Jefferson Manor Health Center to comply with the provisions of Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1975, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Pennsylvamia Human Relations Act, the Family Medical Leave Act of 1993 and all related laws or ordinances and all requirements imposed thereunder, to the end that no person shall on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, source of payment, national origin, ancestry, religion, veteran status, creed, handicap or disability be excluded from participation or subjected to discriminatory tratment or harassment in the provision of any care or services.
The non-discrimination policy of Jefferson Manor applies to all residents, physicians, visitors, applicants and employees. Jefferson Manor will continue to comply with all state and federal lawa prohibiting discrimination.
Under no circumstance will the application of this policy result in the segregation or desegregation of buildings, wings, floors or rooms for any reasons of race, color, national origin, handicap or religious creed or other prohibited criterion.
