Jefferson Manor Health Center Non Discrimination and Non Harassment Policy

It is the policy of Jefferson Manor Health Center to comply with the provisions of the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the American With Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and all related laws or ordinances and all requirements imposed thereunder, to the end that no person shall on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, source of payment, national origin, ancestry, religion, veteran status, handicap or disability, be subjected to discriminatory treatment or harassment in the provision of any care or service.

Discrimination is conduct of any nature which denies equal privileges or treatment to a particular individual because of the individual's age, ancestry, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation.

This non discriminatory policy of Jefferson Manor applies to residents, physicians, and all responsible employees.

Under no circumstance will the application of this policy result in the segregation or resegregation of buildings, wings, floors or rooms for any reasons of race, color, national origin, handicap, or religious creed.
